On its fifth day, despite a working Monday, the film maintained steady collections with only a slight drop from the weekend, demonstrating strong weekday hold. Produced by Yash Raj Films, War 2 carries forward the legacy of the 2019 hit War, with early trends indicating it could cross the ₹200 crore mark within its first week.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2 earned ₹6.66 crore on Monday, taking its total India net collection to ₹179.13 crore. Hindi shows reported 10.63% occupancy, while Tamil and Telugu screenings saw higher turnout, with 18.67% and 17.48% occupancy respectively, reflecting the pan-India appeal of Hrithik and Jr NTR, especially in the southern markets.

The film had opened to ₹52.5 crore on day one, rose to ₹57.35 crore on Friday, and then saw gradual dips over the weekend with ₹33.25 crore on Saturday and further decline on Sunday. Trade analysts say the Monday numbers indicate strong audience retention despite weekday challenges.
