Opposition Leaders, Including Rahul Gandhi, Extend Birthday Wishes to PM Modi on 75th Birthday
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended warm birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he turned 75 on Wednesday. Taking to X, the Leader of Opposition wrote, “Wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday and good health.”
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also conveyed his best wishes, posting on X: “Best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and long life.”
Other Opposition Leaders Join In
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wished the Prime Minister a happy birthday, tweeting, “Warm birthday wishes to Hon’ble PM @narendramodi. Wishing you good health and happiness.”
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav extended heartfelt greetings on X, writing: “Heartfelt birthday greetings to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, along with best wishes for a healthy, meaningful, harmonious, inclusive, and positive life.”
TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee also joined the list, tweeting: “Greetings to Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji on his birthday.”
Birthday Celebrations Across the Country
The BJP-run governments at the Centre and in various states have planned a series of events and outreach programmes to mark PM Modi’s birthday. These include health camps, cleanliness drives, fairs promoting indigenous products, and gatherings of intellectuals, continuing until October 2.
Prime Minister Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, a small town in North Gujarat’s Mehsana district.
