Sunita Ahuja Speaks Out on Govinda Affair Rumours: “She Doesn’t Love Him, Only Wants His Money”

Sunita Ahuja has addressed the ongoing rumours about Govinda’s alleged extramarital affair, calling out the woman involved and expressing her hopes for family harmony in the coming year.

In an interview with ETimes, Sunita said, “I treat 2025 as a very bad year for me because I’ve been hearing about Govinda’s controversy that he is having an affair with a girl, but I know that she’s not an actress because actresses don’t do such bad things. She doesn’t love him; she only wants his money.”

Sunita added that she hopes 2026 brings peace to her family. “I want Govinda to put an end to all these controversies and for us to have a happy family. I hope he realises that the most important things in his life are three women: his mother, his wife, and his daughter. No one has a right to keep a fourth woman in their life. I want him to focus on his work and leave behind those who are only with him for money,” she said.

Earlier, Sunita had firmly dismissed divorce rumours during the 2025 Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, telling the media, “Seeing us together like this… if there was something wrong, would we be this close? No one can separate us… My Govinda is only mine and no one else’s.”

Govinda and Sunita married in 1987, keeping their relationship private until the birth of their daughter Tina in 1989. Despite decades of a strong marriage, rumours surrounding their relationship continue to make headlines. Sunita’s recent statements reaffirm her commitment to her family while addressing the speculation directly.
