Avatar: Fire and Ash OTT Release Date Announced, James Cameron’s Pandora Saga Set for June Streaming Debut
Avatar: Fire and Ash is finally heading to OTT months after its record-breaking theatrical run, with the highly anticipated sci-fi epic set to premiere digitally on June 24, 2026.
Directed by James Cameron, the third chapter in the Avatar franchise originally released in cinemas on December 19, 2025, where it enjoyed a massive global run and emerged as one of the biggest box office successes of the year.
The makers have now confirmed that the film will begin streaming on JioHotstar and Disney+ from June 24, allowing fans to revisit the visually stunning world of Pandora from home.
Serving as the sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water, the latest instalment explores a darker side of Pandora, introducing volcanic landscapes and more intense conflicts compared to the aquatic setting of the previous film.
The story continues the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri as they face new threats while struggling with leadership, survival and family responsibilities amid growing unrest across Pandora.
The film sees the return of franchise stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña as Jake Sully and Neytiri. Sigourney Weaver reprises her role as Kiri, while Stephen Lang returns once again as Colonel Miles Quaritch.
New additions to the cast include Oona Chaplin, who plays Varang, alongside David Thewlis, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis and Joel David Moore in important roles.
With the success of Fire and Ash, the Avatar franchise has further strengthened its position as one of the most commercially successful film series in cinema history. Cameron has already confirmed that Avatar 4 and Avatar 5 are currently in development and are expected to release in 2029 and 2031 respectively.
