Jennifer Lopez Reveals the Secret Behind Her ‘Office Romance’ Bikini Scene

Jennifer Lopez has opened up about the preparation that went into filming a bikini scene for her upcoming romantic comedy Office Romance, revealing that staying disciplined with her fitness and diet routine was key.

The actress and singer stars opposite Brett Goldstein in the Ol Parker-directed film, which is one of the most anticipated romantic comedies on the horizon. While the movie features Lopez in a bikini scene, the 56-year-old says there was no last-minute transformation involved.

“You know that you’re going to be on screen, so you have to be prepared,” Lopez told Extra. “It’s about being in the gym, eating healthy, eating the right things and being consistent. I’ve always believed that’s the most important thing.”

Lopez, who has long been admired for her commitment to fitness and wellness, emphasized that maintaining healthy habits year-round is what helps her feel confident in front of the camera.

Her co-star Brett Goldstein, however, admitted he felt a little more pressure when it came to filming scenes that required him to show off his physique.

“Of course I did,” Goldstein joked. “I’m doing a scene with Jennifer Lopez.”

The actor, best known for his Emmy-winning role as Roy Kent in Ted Lasso, laughed about the challenge of sharing the screen with someone renowned for her fitness and stage presence.

Away from Office Romance, Lopez is also enjoying renewed attention for one of her biggest hits. The singer recently reacted to seeing her 2011 chart-topper On the Floor featured in an episode of the television drama Off Campus.

The episode recreated one of Lopez’s most iconic fashion moments, with actress Mika Abdalla wearing a version of the famous green Grammy Awards dress while dancing to the song. The scene quickly gained traction online, introducing the track to a new generation of viewers.

Lopez said she was delighted by the response and fascinated by how older songs can find fresh audiences years after their release.

“I was blown away,” she said. “It’s amazing that a song you made 15 years ago can suddenly go back into the charts and connect with a completely new generation.”

The multi-hyphenate star added that the experience highlights how streaming and social media have transformed the music industry, giving classic hits a second life long after their original release.

For Lopez, seeing On the Floor resonate with younger fans has been just as rewarding as creating new projects, proving that some pop anthems truly stand the test of time.
