Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Emraan Hashmi Film Earns ₹110 Crore Worldwide

Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 has delivered a strong opening weekend at the box office, crossing the ₹100 crore mark globally within just three days. The film collected an estimated ₹31.20 crore gross in India on Sunday, while its overseas earnings stood at around ₹4 crore.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film’s three-day India gross has reached ₹98.10 crore. With approximately ₹12 crore coming from international markets during the opening weekend, Awarapan 2 has registered a worldwide collection of ₹110.10 crore.

The film witnessed a decline on its third day after a strong Saturday. Sunday collections fell around 23% from the previous day’s ₹40.50 crore. Despite the drop, the film remained ahead of its opening-day performance, when it collected ₹26.40 crore.

Emraan Hashmi Returns as Shivam

Awarapan 2 marks Emraan Hashmi’s return as Shivam Pandit, nearly two decades after he first portrayed the character in the 2007 original. His comeback as the troubled protagonist has been one of the film’s biggest attractions.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt, the sequel features Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi alongside Puran Gabbi, Anirudh Rawal, Surendar Vicky, Vijayant Kohli and Atul Kumar.

Emraan Hashmi’s Performance Gets Praise

The actor has also received appreciation for his portrayal of an older and more emotionally scarred Shivam. News18 rated the film three stars and highlighted Hashmi’s ability to convey the character’s pain through his expressions rather than relying solely on dialogue.

The review noted that the actor does not simply recreate his 2007 performance but presents Shivam as a man who has spent years carrying his emotional wounds. His portrayal, particularly during the character’s transformation into a ruthless fighter, was praised for adding depth to the sequel.

Strong Start for Awarapan 2

With ₹98.10 crore grossed in India and ₹12 crore overseas, Awarapan 2 has made an impressive start at the worldwide box office. Crossing ₹110 crore in its first three days gives the film a strong foundation as it enters the crucial weekdays.

The coming days will determine whether the Emraan Hashmi starrer can maintain its momentum and turn its strong opening weekend into a sustained theatrical success.
