After years of keeping their relationship away from the spotlight, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and entrepreneur Gauri Spratt are set to marry on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at the actor’s Mumbai residence. Their love story, however, began decades ago with a chance meeting in Bengaluru before life took them in different directions.

The two first met over 25 years ago but eventually lost touch. Years later, they reconnected, rekindling a friendship that gradually evolved into a relationship. Unlike Aamir’s previous marriages, the couple chose to keep their romance private, making only limited public appearances together.

Aamir introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025, saying, “I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her.”

Who is Gauri Spratt?

A Bengaluru-based entrepreneur with a background in fashion and photography, Gauri Spratt has largely stayed away from the film industry despite dating one of Bollywood’s biggest stars. Aamir has often said that she prefers a low-profile life.

Gauri is now associated with Aamir Khan’s production house, marking a professional collaboration alongside their personal relationship.

‘I Feel at Peace With Her’

Speaking about Gauri in an earlier interview with Navbharat Times, Aamir described this phase of his life as one of emotional fulfilment.

“I am very fortunate that I met Gauri, and our relationship started together. She is great, I feel at peace with her. Although my relationship with Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta was also very deep, things didn’t work out. I feel very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together. Mujhe lagta hai ab jaake mai mukammal hua hoon (I feel like I am finally complete now),” he said.

Wedding on July 5

Aamir recently confirmed that he and Gauri will tie the knot on July 5 in a private ceremony at his Mumbai home.

“Haan, meri shaadi ho rahi hai 5 July ko… bahut hi chhoti si shaadi hai. Ghar par hi kar rahe hain,” the actor said, adding that only close family members and friends will attend the ceremony.

Requesting blessings from fans, Aamir said, “Bahut hi khaas din hai humare liye. Sabki duayein aur blessings chahenge.”

According to reports, the couple is expected to register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act.

He first married Reena Dutta in 1986. The couple has two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, before parting ways in 2002.

In 2005, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao. They announced their separation in 2021 after 16 years of marriage but continue to co-parent their son, Azad, who was born through surrogacy. Aamir has maintained cordial relations with both Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao even after their divorces.
