The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host its annual Naman Awards ceremony on Sunday, March 15, in New Delhi, honouring standout performances and contributions across international, domestic and age-group cricket during the 2024-25 season.
The biggest honours of the evening will go to three stalwarts of Indian cricket. Rahul Dravid and Roger Binny will receive the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, while Mithali Raj will be conferred with the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women.
Dravid scored more than 24,000 international runs during an illustrious playing career before moving into coaching. As India’s head coach, he guided the team to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 title, reinforcing his status as one of the most influential figures in Indian cricket both on and off the field.
Binny, a key member of India’s triumphant campaign at the 1983 Cricket World Cup, finished as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. After his playing career, he served Indian cricket in multiple roles, including coach, selector and administrator, and was the BCCI president from 2022 to 2025.
Mithali remains the highest run-scorer in women’s One-Day Internationals, amassing 7,805 runs at an average of 50.68. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she led India to two finals of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and played a pivotal role in bringing women’s cricket in India into the mainstream.
In a historic first, all five ICC trophy-winning Indian teams will also be felicitated during the ceremony, celebrating a remarkable period of success for Indian cricket across formats and age groups.
