Bobby Deol Joins Ahaan Panday and Sharvari in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Upcoming Action Romance.

Following the success of Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday will next star in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action romance, alongside Sharvari. Fans eagerly awaiting updates on the film now have more reason to cheer—Bobby Deol has been roped in to play a pivotal role. According to Mid Day, he will portray Ahaan’s adversary in the yet-untitled project.

Bobby, known for his recent string of negative roles, will reportedly play a grey character rather than a traditional villain. A source told Mid Day, “It would be incorrect to call him the antagonist. His character holds authority, but there’s more than meets the eye. As the story unfolds, Bobby’s character shows grey shades, affecting his dynamics with the hero.”

Director Ali Abbas Zafar and producer Aditya Chopra were keen to ensure Bobby’s role differed from his recent portrayals in Animal, Aashram, Kanguva, and Alpha. “The director created a larger-than-life persona for Bobby while giving the character personal motivations and shades of grey. Bobby joined the project just a week ago,” added the source.

Reports suggest Ali Abbas Zafar will conduct a month-long recce in the UK in December, with principal photography beginning in February 2026. The film will be shot across London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds.

Professionally, Bobby was last seen in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series The Ba**ds of Bollywood* and will soon feature in the Tamil film Jana Nayagan and YRF’s Alpha. With the success of Saiyaara, the makers are reportedly confident about this next venture.
