Mild Earthquake Jolts Delhi-NCR, Epicentre in Haryana’s Faridabad.
Tremors were felt across parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) early Tuesday morning following a mild earthquake. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the quake measured 3.2 on the Richter scale.
The tremor was recorded at 6:00 am, with its epicentre located in Faridabad, Haryana. The earthquake struck at a shallow depth of 5 km beneath the surface at coordinates 28.29°N latitude and 72.21°E longitude.
There were no immediate reports of damage to property or casualties. However, the tremors were enough to be felt by residents in several parts of the NCR. Authorities confirmed that all systems remain normal and there is no cause for concern.
