The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday raided the residence of Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj in connection with a money laundering case linked to an alleged hospital construction scam.
According to officials, the searches were part of a larger operation covering 13 locations in Delhi and neighboring areas. Bhardwaj, the MLA from Greater Kailash, has previously held key portfolios such as Health, Urban Development, and Water, besides serving as Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board. He is also a prominent spokesperson of the AAP.
So far, the ED has not revealed details regarding assets seized or the scale of the alleged financial irregularities. The investigation is ongoing.
