Jr NTR fans throng to theatres to watch him ‘breathe fire’ in War 2 trailer during face-off with Hrithik Roshan
Jr NTR Fans Erupt in Celebration as War 2 Trailer Screens in Theatres Across South India.
Telugu superstar Jr NTR is all set to make his Bollywood debut with War 2, and his fans across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are already in a frenzy. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR as Indian spy Vikram, who will lock horns with Hrithik’s Kabir.
Though the film is set to release on August 14, the War 2 trailer has already sparked mass hysteria in the South. In several theatres, fans flocked in large numbers just to catch the trailer on the big screen.
Mass Fan Frenzy for Just the Trailer
Videos posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) show massive crowds lining up outside theatres and sprinting inside the halls as soon as the doors opened. Inside, the euphoria only escalated. In one viral clip, fans can be seen screaming, waving flags, and recording the trailer on their phones. The cheers were so loud that the actual dialogues from the trailer were barely audible.
Another video captured fans celebrating even before the trailer began — clapping, whistling, and dancing in anticipation.
‘Breathing Fire’: Fans Can’t Get Enough of Jr NTR
The trailer, which teases high-octane action and intense face-offs, especially between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, has won instant praise online. One fan posted, “Every @tarak9999 film has one guarantee: goosebumps.” Another declared, “#JrNTR is breathing fire in the #War2 trailer. He stole the show!”
A particularly viral fan post highlighted a single Jr NTR shot where he glares at Hrithik: “This shot >>> WHOLE TRAILER.” Yet another wrote, “Lifetime settlement. If you show me a better elevation than this in the entire YRF Spy Universe, I won’t believe it.”
