Kiku Sharda Reportedly Quits Kapil Sharma’s Show After On-Set Spat With Krushna Abhishek.

Kiku Sharda, a longtime collaborator of Kapil Sharma, has reportedly stepped away from The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. The comedian, best known for his popular characters like Bumper Lottery, has been part of Kapil’s comedy universe for years.

On Thursday, celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani claimed on Instagram that Kiku has quit the show. According to reports, the actor has signed a new reality series titled Rise and Fall, which will stream on Amazon MX Player and be hosted by Ashneer Grover. His commitment to this project is believed to be the reason for his exit from Kapil Sharma’s show.

The development comes just days after reports of a heated exchange between Kiku and fellow comedian Krushna Abhishek on set. A video of their alleged argument circulated online, showing the two sparring over performance time. While Kiku insisted on finishing his act, Krushna responded with visible frustration before attempting to defuse the situation.

Kiku, however, has not officially confirmed his departure. Neither he nor Kapil Sharma has issued a statement on the matter so far.

Despite the speculation, Kiku Sharda remains a significant name in Indian comedy. Over the years, he has been widely praised for his versatility, including his iconic portrayals of female characters. In a past interview, he clarified that he never hesitated to take on such roles: “I never had any apprehensions about dressing up as a woman. As an actor, I should be able to deliver everything that comes my way. Whenever I play a woman, I ensure it is dignified and endearing. If audiences hadn’t accepted it, I wouldn’t have continued.”

For now, fans await an official word on whether Kiku has truly bid farewell to Kapil Sharma’s popular Netflix series or if this is just a temporary break.
