Miley Cyrus Confirms Engagement to Maxx Morando with $150K Cushion-Cut Diamond Ring.
Miley Cyrus has officially confirmed her engagement to longtime boyfriend Maxx Morando. The couple made their first red-carpet appearance since the news broke at the Hollywood premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash, where fans immediately noticed a dazzling diamond on Miley’s left ring finger, sparking speculation ahead of the announcement.
A Statement Ring
Miley’s engagement ring has quickly become the star of the story. Jewellery influencer Julia Chafe estimated the custom piece’s value at around $150,000 (approximately ₹1.34 crore). Designed by Los Angeles-based Jackie Aish, the ring features a four-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond set horizontally (east–west) in a bold bombe-style bezel, mounted on a thick cigar band—rumoured to be 14-karat yellow gold. Chafe noted the intricate setting appears to incorporate additional half-moon shaped diamonds, with the warm-toned stone reflecting the year’s trending “desert diamond” aesthetic.
A Love Story
Cyrus, 33, and Morando, 27, have been together for four years, reportedly meeting on a blind date in 2022. Speaking to British Vogue, Miley joked about the setup: “I thought, ‘The worst that can happen is I leave.’” Rumours of the engagement first surfaced in mid-November when Deux Moi spotted the singer wearing the ring.
Despite Cyrus’s global fame, the couple has largely kept their relationship private. Their engagement marks a new chapter in a romance that fans have watched blossom quietly over the years.
