Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film with Meenakshi Chaudhary has officially been titled Vrushakarma, with the makers unveiling a striking new poster on the actor’s birthday.
The announcement quickly caught the attention of fans, who flooded social media with wishes and reactions to the film’s first look. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Chaitanya wrote, “#Vrushakarma it is for #NC24,” revealing the title of his 24th film. The poster presents the actor in a fierce, action-driven avatar, hinting at the film’s dark and mythological undertones.
Meenakshi Chaudhary Introduced as Daksha
Earlier, the makers revealed Meenakshi Chaudhary’s first look, confirming that she will play a character named Daksha. The image, released by Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra (SVCC), portrays her in an intense and enigmatic role. The team described her character as someone who “unearths the truth from the depths of mystery,” further building intrigue around the narrative.
A Mythological Thriller with Big Ambitions
Directed by Karthik Dandu, Vrushakarma—also known by its working title NC24—is positioned as a mythological thriller. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad under SVCC and presented by Sukumar Writings. Actor Sparsh Shrivastava, known for Laapataa Ladies, plays a significant supporting role. The screenplay is being overseen by filmmaker Sukumar, with music by Ajaneesh B. Loknath.
Speaking about the project, Naga Chaitanya earlier said he believes the story will resonate widely, adding, “The narrative explores universal themes of good versus evil and the struggle against fate. The film’s visual scale is something I’m truly excited for audiences to experience.”
Chaitanya’s own first-look poster, released in May, had already created strong buzz, setting high expectations for what is being positioned as one of the most ambitious films of his career.
