Tanya Mittal unfazed by Pahalgam attack controversy, says she’s ‘happy MP Tourism left me’
Spiritual influencer and entrepreneur Tanya Mittal, currently seen on Bigg Boss 19, addressed the controversy surrounding her remarks on the Pahalgam attack in April. Following the attack that killed 26 people, Tanya had stated, “Terrorism has no religion,” which drew significant criticism. Some social media users also claimed she was associated with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department. The department later clarified that she had no official ties with them.
In an interview ahead of entering the Bigg Boss house, Tanya said she remained unfazed by the backlash. “When the controversy happened, just 48 hours later I was traveling and making videos. It really didn’t affect me. I know my truth,” she said. She added that she believes in staying true to goodness and leaving behind environments where it isn’t respected.
Tanya also commented on the MP Tourism fallout, saying, “I am very happy that they left me because now we are more involved in other states too. So is there anything stopping me?”
Since entering Bigg Boss 19, Tanya has already made an impression with her bold personality. While some viewers find her self-assured and entertaining, others view her as irritating. The show features content creators, influencers, and actors including Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, Gaurav Khanna, and others. It airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm and is available on JioHotstar.
