Ranveer Singh Teases ‘Bigger Dhamaka’ in Dhurandhar 2 After Co-Star’s Praise

One of the most-awaited films of the year, Dhurandhar, marking the first collaboration between Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar, hit theatres this week.

In just two days, the spy action thriller has taken a strong lead at the box office, with audiences calling it a “must-watch masterpiece”. Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s performances, in particular, have earned widespread praise.

Amid the growing excitement, Ranveer’s co-star Danish Pandor shared a heartfelt appreciation post celebrating the film’s success and the actor’s dedication. Referring to Ranveer as “Dhu-RAN-dhar”, Danish posted a picture of the two hugging and recalled their first meeting at the narration.

He wrote, “I remember the very first day we met during the narration. You walked in with that trademark energy, hugged me tight and said, ‘Danniiisshh!! We’ll kill it!’ From that moment, I knew what kind of journey this would be. Your energy, madness, precision and generosity as a co-actor were inspiring. Responding with equal warmth, Ranveer hinted that Dhurandhar 2 will be even bigger than the first film. He wrote, “Tu meri jaan hai! Everyone is loving you! Imagine what will happen when they experience part two! I’m overwhelmed with these words and will hold this message close to my heart. Tu chha gaya mere rajja! Proud of you and thrilled for you!”

Fans are now eagerly waiting for the sequel, which features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun. Dhurandhar 2 is slated for release on March 19, 2026.
