Vijay–Rashmika Wedding: Festivities are in full swing for actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, who are celebrating their pre-wedding ceremonies in Udaipur.

After hosting an intimate Japanese dinner and fun-filled volleyball and cricket matches for guests, the couple organised a grand sangeet ceremony on Tuesday night.

While visuals from the event are yet to surface on social media, a heartwarming tradition reportedly stole the spotlight. According to sources, Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda, presented Rashmika with ancestral heirloom bangles during the ceremony — a symbolic gesture signifying acceptance into the family and the passing on of legacy and blessings.

A Love Story That Began On Set

Vijay and Rashmika first met in 2018 while shooting for the Telugu romantic drama Geetha Govindam. The film turned out to be a massive success and established them as one of the most adored on-screen pairs in Telugu cinema.

They reunited in 2019 for Dear Comrade, further strengthening their popularity. Over the years, their public appearances together — from vacations to industry gatherings — kept fans speculating about their relationship, though both consistently described each other as close friends.

‘VIROSH’ Wedding Announcement

On February 22, the couple officially confirmed their wedding through a joint message on social media. Acknowledging the nickname fans had lovingly given them — “VIROSH” — they announced that their union would be called The Wedding of VIROSH, thanking supporters for standing by them through the years.

The wedding ceremony in Udaipur is being kept deliberately intimate, with only close family and friends in attendance. However, reports suggest a grand reception is planned in Hyderabad on March 4 at Taj Krishna, where members of the film fraternity and industry insiders are expected to join the celebrations.

With traditions blending seamlessly with modern celebrations, the couple’s wedding festivities have already captured widespread attention — and the main ceremony is still awaited.
