Shilpa Shetty Marks 16th Anniversary With Raj Kundra, Says She Is ‘Still Spinning in Love’

Shilpa Shetty celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary with husband Raj Kundra by sharing a heartfelt note and a playful video on Instagram. The actress wrote that she is “still spinning in love” and “still choosing each other,” adding a wish for “always and forever.”

In the light-hearted clip, Raj asks Shilpa if they should go out to mark their anniversary. She immediately brightens up, ready to step out—only for Raj to open the front door, guide her just one step outside, and start twirling her on the spot. Shilpa bursts into laughter, caught off guard by the unexpected gesture.

“Happy Sweet 16 to US… still spinning in love, still choosing each other. Here’s to always and Forever. Happy Anniversary,” she captioned the post.

Shilpa and Raj got engaged in 2009, the same year she co-owned the IPL team Rajasthan Royals with him. They tied the knot in November 2009. The couple welcomed their son Viaan in 2012 and their daughter Samiksha in 2020 via surrogacy.

Shilpa, who made her acting debut with the 1993 thriller Baazigar, went on to star in films such as Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Jaanwar, Dhadkan, Indian, Rishtey, Phir Milenge, Life in a… Metro, Dus, and Apne.

She expanded into television in 2006 as a judge on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and later won the UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother in 2007. Over the years, she has judged several reality competitions, including Zara Nachke Dikha, Nach Baliye, and Super Dancer. Shilpa returned to films in 2021 with Hungama 2 and most recently appeared in the action series Indian Police Force.
