Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi Among Bollywood Names Linked to Dawood Ibrahim’s Alleged Drug Party Probe
Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and several other Bollywood personalities have been named in an ongoing investigation into alleged drug parties linked to underworld fugitive Dawood Ibrahim.
The development comes after Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) recently busted a major drug syndicate reportedly operated by wanted trafficker Salim Dola, believed to be an associate of Dawood.
According to an India Today report, Dola allegedly ran the network from Dubai. His son, Taher Dola—extradited from the UAE in August—has reportedly disclosed crucial information to investigators. Documents accessed by the publication state that Taher claimed several Bollywood actors, models, rappers, filmmakers, and even individuals connected to Dawood attended drug parties organised in India and abroad.
Names mentioned in the remand copy include actors Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, among others.
The remand note states:
“Further investigation into the said accused No. 05 has revealed that he is organising drug parties in the country and abroad and supplying drugs to those parties.”
It further adds that Taher allegedly hosted such events with “Alisha Parkar, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zishan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhan, Abbas Mastaan, Loka and many other people.”
Mumbai Crime Branch is expected to summon the actors and celebrities named in the case to record their statements.
So far, neither Shraddha Kapoor nor Nora Fatehi—or their teams—have issued any public response to the allegations. More details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
Interestingly, Shraddha Kapoor portrayed Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar, in the 2017 biopic Haseena Parkar, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, while her brother Siddharth Kapoor played Dawood in the film.
