‘The Truth Is…’: Rashmika Mandanna Breaks Silence on Wedding Rumours With Vijay Deverakonda

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have once again found themselves at the centre of wedding speculation.

With reports claiming the two are set to tie the knot on February 26 in Udaipur. While neither actor has confirmed the reports, Rashmika has now reacted to the renewed buzz around their relationship.

During an interaction with Prema, Rashmika was asked about rumours suggesting she would marry Vijay next month. Responding cautiously, the actor said, “It has been four years since these rumours began. People have been asking the same question and waiting for the same thing.”

She added, “But today, the truth is, I will speak about it when it’s supposed to be spoken about. When it’s supposed to be spoken about, we will speak about it,” indicating that she preferred to address the matter at the appropriate time. Rashmika also mentioned she would be open to discussing it off camera.

Relationship and wedding rumours

Speculation around the couple intensified recently after Rashmika and Vijay shared photos from similar locations in Rome while celebrating the New Year, leading fans to believe they were vacationing together, though neither acknowledged it publicly.

Reports have claimed that the two actors got engaged in a private ceremony in October 2025 in the presence of close family members. While there has been no official announcement, a Hindustan Times report recently stated that the wedding is scheduled for February 26, 2026, at a heritage palace in Udaipur.

According to a source quoted in the report, the ceremony is expected to be a private affair with no celebrity guests. “Much like their engagement, the wedding will be a close-knit event with only family and close friends in attendance,” the source said.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have previously starred together in popular films such as Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, and are reportedly set to reunite for director Rahul Sankrityan’s upcoming project.

On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Kingdom. Rashmika recently appeared in Thamma alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and in the Telugu film The Girlfriend. She has Cocktail 2 and Mysaa lined up, while Vijay will next be seen in Rowdy Janardhana.
