PM Modi Joins Global Leaders for ‘Family Photo’ at SCO Summit in China.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other world leaders posed for the customary ‘family photo’ on Sunday at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China.
PM Modi was positioned in the front row, alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Other leaders in the photograph included Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Ahead of the summit, President Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan hosted a welcoming banquet for international delegates. Notably, this was the first time PM Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Sharif were seen sharing the same platform since India’s Operation Sindoor precision strikes.
