Arijit Singh Surprises London Fans With ‘Saiyaara’ Rendition.

Singer Arijit Singh recently left fans awestruck at his concert in London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by performing the hit title track from Saiyaara. The film, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, released on July 18 and has become a box-office blockbuster, with its soulful soundtrack striking a strong chord with listeners.

The Saiyaara title track, originally sung by Kashmiri artiste Faheem Abdullah and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, has already become a fan favorite. Adding to the excitement, Arijit gave the London audience a surprise live version, lending his unique touch to the much-loved number. Several clips of the performance have since gone viral on social media.

A Magical London Setlist
During the show, Arijit treated fans to some of his biggest hits including Kesariya, Bulleya, Kabira, and Mast Magan. But it was his unexpected performance of Saiyaara that drew the loudest cheers, with the crowd singing along in unison. Arijit performed the retro-styled version of the track, infusing it with his signature emotion and energy.

Mixed Reactions Online
While many praised his rendition, calling it “goosebump-inducing” and “pure magic,” others felt the song’s original vibe was lost. One fan wrote, “Arijit + Saiyaara = goosebumps, didn’t see that coming,” while another said, “Bro sang Saiyaara like he wrote it.” However, some netizens felt the “old-style background music” did not suit his voice.

Arijit Singh and Mohit Suri: A Successful Partnership
Arijit’s connection with director Mohit Suri goes back more than a decade. He made his Hindi playback debut with Phir Mohabbat in Suri’s Murder 2 (2011), and together they went on to deliver chartbusters like Tum Hi Ho, Chahun Main Ya Naa, Hum Mar Jayenge (Aashiqui 2), Humdard (Ek Villain), Hamari Adhuri Kahani, and Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga (Half Girlfriend). He also sang Dhun in Mohit Suri’s latest directorial, Saiyaara.
