Indian Markets Open Higher Amid Global Cues, Tech and Metals Lead Gains

Indian stock markets opened on a positive note on Tuesday, buoyed by global optimism despite lingering US–China trade tensions and ongoing domestic earnings announcements. The BSE Sensex rose 235 points (0.29%) to 82,562, while the NSE Nifty50 climbed 55 points (0.22%) to 25,283.

Broader indices also showed gains, with the Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap rising 0.37% and 0.38%, respectively.
