The inauguration ceremony, held at McKinley in Bonifacio Global City, brought together prominent policymakers, business leaders, and global trade advocates as AACCI formally established its presence in the Philippines.

At the event, Ms. Sherlyn Solanoy was appointed as the President of the AACCI Philippines Chapter. Her selection highlights her proven leadership and commitment to fostering international partnerships and driving sustainable economic advancement.

AACCI emphasized that its expansion into the Philippines aligns with its broader vision of creating new avenues for Filipino enterprises, enhancing bilateral trade, and building stronger market linkages across the two regions.

Organizational leaders expressed confidence that the Philippines Chapter will become a key catalyst for inclusive growth, entrepreneurship development, and strengthened diplomatic and commercial ties between Asia and Africa.

Looking ahead, AACCI announced plans to introduce impactful initiatives—including trade missions, collaborative programs, and sector-focused partnerships—to support local industries and enhance the Philippines’ engagement within the wider Asian–African economic ecosystem.
