Toxic Trailer Out: Yash’s Fierce Avatar as Raya Fuels Excitement for His Ravana in Ramayana

After months of anticipation, Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups trailer has finally arrived, and it has sparked a strong reaction among fans.

Interestingly, Yash’s dark and intense avatar as Raya has also amplified curiosity around his upcoming portrayal of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.

Released on Saturday evening, the trailer has quickly become a talking point, with fans particularly impressed by Yash’s commanding screen presence and the film’s darker tone.

The trailer reveals that Yash plays a dual role, portraying Raya as well as his son Rumi, also known as Ticket. While the actor gets several mass moments, the preview also introduces the film’s ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Each character appears to have a significant role in the story.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been filmed in Kannada and English and will be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 26, 2026, giving it a pan-India release.
