Mika Singh Demands Strict Action After Firing Incident at Tiger Shroff’s Residence, Flags Mumbai Safety Concerns
Mika Singh Recalls Mumbai’s Reputation for Safety
Recounting his experience after moving to Mumbai in 2005, Mika said he had often described the city as one of the safest places in the world.
“When I came to Mumbai in 2005, I used to tell people all around the world one thing: if there is any city in the world that is the safest, it is Mumbai,” he said.
The singer highlighted the city’s vibrant atmosphere and the freedom people traditionally enjoyed while working late or moving around at night. He credited Mumbai’s people and its welcoming environment for contributing to its reputation for safety.
However, Mika expressed disappointment over the latest incident, suggesting that the sense of security he once associated with the city was being challenged.
‘What Happened to Tiger Shroff Could Happen to Anyone’
Mika also pointed out that the firing incident occurred during the festive season, when large numbers of people participate in celebrations and cultural events, including Garba and Dandiya.
Expressing concern for ordinary residents, the singer warned that an incident involving a well-known actor could also affect other members of the public.
“What happened to Tiger Shroff took place at a time when the festive season is underway. So many people are celebrating festivals, with Garba and Dandiya events taking place. And during this time, such a serious incident has occurred,” he said.
He emphasised that public safety should remain a priority, particularly during a period when people are out celebrating with their families and friends.
Singer Appeals to Government for Stringent Action
Mika Singh concluded his video with an appeal to the authorities to take the matter seriously and ensure strict action against those involved.
“With folded hands, I want to appeal to the government: please take this issue seriously and take strict action. What happened to Tiger today could happen to anyone tomorrow. Thank you. Jai Hind!” he said.
His remarks have brought renewed attention to concerns surrounding security in Mumbai following the reported shooting.
Eknath Shinde Meets Tiger Shroff, Assures Action
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Tiger Shroff at the actor’s residence on Sunday following the incident in Juhu.
During the meeting, Shinde assured the actor and his family that those responsible would not be spared and that the authorities would take the matter seriously.
Photographs that emerged after the incident showed the Baaghi actor with bandages on his right arm and dressings around his shoulder and chest.
Speaking to the media after meeting Tiger, Shinde said the actor had sustained an injury to his right arm due to gunpowder and glass fragments.
The incident has prompted concerns about security in Mumbai, with Mika Singh’s appeal highlighting the importance of protecting residents and ensuring that those responsible for acts of violence are held accountable.
