Aamir Khan Says He’s ‘Already Married’ to Gauri Spratt, But No Plans to Formalise Yet.

Aamir Khan’s relationship with Gauri Spratt is no longer a secret. The couple, who have been dating for some time, have reportedly moved into a stylish new home in Mumbai — conveniently close to Aamir’s family residence, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Talking to the portal, Aamir said, “This is happening right in the middle of my production Happy Patel being released. So, it’s madness.”

Despite their seriousness, Aamir clarified that marriage is not on the immediate agenda. “Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. We are partners, we are together. Marriage is something… in my heart, I’m already married to her. Whether we formalise it or not is something I will decide as we go along,” he added.

How it started

Aamir surprised fans on his 60th birthday last year by publicly introducing Gauri, revealing they had known each other for 25 years before reconnecting about a year and a half ago. “We met accidentally, kept in touch, and it all happened organically,” he said.

Gauri, a mother of a six-year-old son, praised Aamir’s intelligence and gentleness. She also now works with his production house, blending personal and professional life.

Aamir’s past relationships

Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta in 1986, with whom he has two children, Ira and Junaid. They divorced in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005; they separated in 2021 and share a son, Azad, via surrogacy. Aamir maintains cordial relationships with both ex-wives.

For now, Aamir and Gauri appear content taking their relationship at their own pace, with love and partnership taking precedence over formalities.
