Actor Govinda admitted to Mumbai hospital after collapsing at home

Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital in Juhu late Tuesday night after he fainted at his home.

The 61-year-old actor reportedly experienced sudden dizziness and loss of consciousness, prompting his family to seek immediate medical attention. Confirming the news, Govinda’s friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, told NDTV, “He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at around 1 am.” The actor has undergone a series of medical tests, and doctors are monitoring his condition closely. Just a day before his hospitalisation, Govinda had visited veteran actor Dharmendra at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. A video of the actor outside the hospital went viral, showing him emotional as he arrived to meet the ailing legend.

Dharmendra, who was admitted earlier this month after complaining of breathing issues, has been receiving visits from family and friends, including Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol. Stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aryan Khan have also stopped by to check on the veteran actor’s health. Both Hema Malini and Esha Deol have assured fans that Dharmendra’s condition is stable and improving.

Meanwhile, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently went viral for her candid remarks about their marriage in an interview with Pinkvilla. Reflecting on her life as a star’s spouse, she quipped that she “wouldn’t want Govinda as her husband in her next life,” drawing both laughter and curiosity online.

Govinda and Sunita married secretly in 1987 and share two children — daughter Tina Ahuja, who has already made her Bollywood debut, and son Yashvardhan Ahuja, who is gearing up to enter films soon under the direction of Sai Rajesh Neelam.
