Actor KRK Arrested in Mumbai Over Alleged Firing at Residential Building

Actor Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) was arrested by Oshiwara police on Saturday morning in connection with a two-bullet firing incident reported earlier this month in Andheri, Mumbai.

According to DCP Dikshit Gedam of Zone 9, KRK admitted that the shots were fired from his licensed firearm while he was cleaning it. The police have seized the weapon, and further legal formalities are underway.

The incident took place on January 18, when two bullets hit the Nalanda Society in Oshiwara. One bullet landed in a second-floor flat belonging to a writer-director, while the other struck a fourth-floor apartment where a model resides. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

An 18-member team from Oshiwara police, led by senior inspector Sanjay Chavan and supported by multiple crime branch units, investigated the case.

While initial CCTV footage provided no leads, forensic analysis suggested that the bullets may have originated from KRK’s bungalow, prompting authorities to name him the prime suspect.
