When defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Gujarat Titans at the HPCA Stadium on Tuesday, the stakes could not be bigger — a direct ticket to the IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad awaits the winner.

The loser will still have another opportunity through Qualifier 2 in New Chandigarh on May 29, but both teams know the value of sealing a straight path to the title clash.

RCB and GT finished the league stage level on 18 points from 14 matches, with only net run rate separating them. RCB’s superior NRR of 0.783 helped them secure a top-two finish ahead of GT’s 0.695, setting up a high-voltage Qualifier 1 showdown in Dharamsala.
