Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij to part ways after 14 years of marriage: Report

Television couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have reportedly decided to end their 14-year marriage, according to a report by Hindustan Times.

The two, who tied the knot in 2011, are said to have filed for divorce a few months ago, with proceedings finalised between July and August 2025. The report also claims that custody arrangements for their children have been settled.

A source quoted in the report said, “Much was tried, but nothing changed. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers were signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided upon.”

Jay and Mahhi are parents to three children — their biological daughter Tara, born in 2019, and foster kids Rajveer and Khushi, whom they took in in 2017.

According to the report, differences reportedly arose due to trust issues between the two. Once known for their family vlogs and social media presence, the couple has not posted together since June 2024. They were last seen publicly at Tara’s birthday celebration in August, after which Mahhi reportedly moved into a new house with the children, while Jay took a solo trip with his daughters.

Despite separation reports, the two have continued to maintain a cordial relationship online. Recently, Mahhi commented on one of Jay’s Instagram reels featuring their daughter Tara, to which Jay responded playfully.

In July, Mahhi had addressed divorce rumours, saying, “Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee? Why do people make such a big deal out of somebody’s divorce or separation?” She added that societal attitudes toward single mothers and divorce remain judgmental and urged people to “just live and let live.”
