Shreyanka Patil, Radha Yadav Shine as RCB Extend Unbeaten Run with 32-Run Win Over Gujarat.
Shreyanka Patil and Radha Yadav put in stellar performances as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) extended their dream unbeaten run in WPL 2026. On Friday, RCB secured a commanding 32-run victory over Gujarat Giants at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, marking their third consecutive win of the season.
Radha Yadav starred with the bat, scoring her maiden WPL fifty and surpassing her previous best of 27, anchoring RCB’s innings with composure and skill. Shreyanka Patil returned to top form with a sensational five-wicket haul, dismantling the Gujarat Giants’ batting lineup and keeping the chase firmly under control.
Radha Powers RCB
Grace Harris got RCB off to a flying start, hitting 23 runs in the first over against Renuka Singh, including four boundaries, though Gujarat fought back to reduce RCB to 43 for four in just over five overs. Smriti Mandhana (5) and Dayalan Hemalatha (4) failed to fire, leaving the team in trouble.
Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh then staged a remarkable recovery, adding 105 runs for the fifth wicket off 72 balls. Radha’s 66 off 47 balls, her maiden WPL fifty, combined with Ghosh’s 44 from 28 deliveries, steadied the innings. Nadine de Klerk added a late flourish, scoring 26 off 12 balls, guiding RCB to a competitive 182 for seven. Gujarat dropped four crucial catches, two of which were offered to Radha. Sophie Devine led the Giants’ bowling with 3/31.
Shreyanka Rocks Gujarat
Chasing 183, Gujarat got off to a promising start with a 34-run opening stand between Beth Mooney (27 off 14) and Sophie Devine (8). However, Shreyanka Patil struck early, breaking partnerships and triggering a collapse. Gujarat slipped to 70 for five in 10.4 overs and, despite a 56-run partnership between Bharati Fulmali (39) and Kashvee Gautam (18), Shreyanka removed Gautam to regain control.
Shreyanka finished with 5/23 from 3.5 overs, while Lauren Bell supported with 3 wickets for 29 runs. Gujarat ultimately fell short, all out for 150 in 18.5 overs, handing RCB another dominant victory and cementing their early-season supremacy.
With this win, RCB continue their unbeaten streak, sending a strong warning to the rest of the league. Gujarat Giants, meanwhile, will need to regroup ahead of their next WPL fixture in Vadodara.
