Sardaar Ji 3 Trailer: Diljit Dosanjh Returns as Ghost Hunter, Hania Aamir Joins the Franchise.

Diljit Dosanjh has dropped the much-awaited trailer of his upcoming Punjabi horror-comedy Sardaar Ji 3, and this time, the beloved franchise returns with a new twist — the addition of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir to the cast. The film is set for an exclusive overseas release on June 27.

Taking to Instagram, Diljit shared the trailer with the caption:
“Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only. FADH LAO BHOOND DIAN LATTAN.”

Plot & Cast: Ghosts, Guns, and Romance
Set in the United Kingdom, the film follows Diljit’s quirky ghost hunter character as he’s summoned to exorcise a spirit haunting a mansion. Hania Aamir, in her first Indian film appearance, stars opposite Diljit along with franchise regular Neeru Bajwa, both of whom share romantic angles with him.

The trailer promises a blend of horror, action, and humour, with a ghost-hunting mission that quickly spirals into chaos. The supporting cast includes Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi, with direction by Amar Hundal.

Fans React to Hania Aamir’s Casting
The trailer has sparked excitement across social media. While many praised the return of Diljit’s ghostbusting avatar, much of the attention was drawn to Hania Aamir’s surprise appearance. One fan wrote, “I’m watching this only for Hania!” Another commented, “Why overseas only?” and “Wow, Hania is here. No one say anything against her.”

Hania’s casting comes at a sensitive time amid ongoing Indo-Pak tensions, following the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor. Her inclusion has led to divided responses, but many online are celebrating the cross-border collaboration.

Legacy of the Sardaar Ji Franchise
Sardaar Ji, released in 2015 and directed by Rohit Jugraj, became one of Punjabi cinema’s biggest hits, noted for its unique mix of horror, fantasy, and comedy. The sequel, Sardaar Ji 2, released in 2016, also enjoyed box-office success. Now, eight years later, the third instalment aims to continue the legacy with fresh faces and a global setting.

With its exclusive international release, Sardaar Ji 3 is gearing up to draw Punjabi audiences worldwide into another supernatural ride — this time with a cross-border twist.
