Shefali Jariwala, best known for her breakout appearance in the iconic 2002 music video ‘Kaanta Laga’, passed away late Friday night in Mumbai at the age of 42. As per reports, she was rushed to the hospital by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, but was declared dead upon arrival. The cause of her death has not been officially disclosed by the family.

Jariwala rose to fame in the early 2000s when ‘Kaanta Laga’ became a nationwide pop culture phenomenon, making her an overnight star.
