Sherlyn Chopra to Undergo Breast Implant Removal, Calls Them ‘Excess Baggage’

Actress and model Sherlyn Chopra has revealed that she will undergo surgery to remove her breast implants after experiencing ongoing physical discomfort.

Calling the implants “excess baggage,” she shared the update through a video on social media, where she opened up about the health issues she has faced in recent months.

Sherlyn said that persistent pain in her back, neck, shoulders, and chest, along with constant pressure in the chest area, prompted her to seek multiple medical tests and expert consultations. Doctors eventually concluded that her “heavy breast implants” were the source of the discomfort.

“I realised that the cause of my chronic pain has been my heavy breast implants,” she said, adding that removing them would help restore her “agility, vitality, and stamina.” She admitted feeling slightly nervous but said she was “immensely excited” to begin a new chapter without the burden.

Ahead of the surgery, Sherlyn expressed gratitude and prayed for the doctors performing the procedure. She also mentioned that she had all her facial fillers dissolved in August 2023 as part of her effort to return to her “authentic self.”

Sherlyn clarified that her choice is personal and not a criticism of cosmetic treatments. “This post reflects purely my decision to embrace myself just the way I am,” she said.

Last year, she had spoken about a cosmetic procedure gone wrong, which left her chin elongated, lips overly enlarged, and cheeks unnaturally puffy.
