Sohail Khan Opens Up on Divorce From Seema Sajdeh: ‘Kaam Theek Nahi Chal Raha Tha’

Actor Sohail Khan has opened up about his divorce from former wife Seema Sajdeh, admitting.

That his own behaviour and professional struggles contributed to the breakdown of their marriage. Speaking on the latest episode of the reality show Alliance, Sohail said losing Seema remains one of his biggest regrets.

Sohail reflects on his marriage

During a conversation on the show, host Nikhil Chinappa asked Sohail who he believed was responsible for the couple’s separation.

Responding candidly, Sohail said, “At that time, kaam theek nahi chal raha tha (my work wasn’t going well), so I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Because of my behaviour, I lost someone I truly loved.”

• Despite their divorce, Sohail said he continues to hold Seema in high regard.

“She is the mother of my two beautiful children, so more than love, I have immense respect for Seema,” he said.

He added that appearing on the show together gave them an opportunity to reconnect.

“This will always remain a memorable show for me. Though we are separated, this show has brought us back together to talk and confide in one another. There was a missing link between us, and this show helped reconnect it,” he shared.

Co-parenting after separation

Speaking to fellow contestant Zaid Darbar, Sohail revealed that their two sons currently live with him. He said Seema visits the house several times a week to spend time with the children and still has a key to the home, reflecting the cordial relationship they have maintained while co-parenting.

Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh eloped before marrying in 1998. The couple first had an Arya Samaj wedding, followed by a nikah ceremony. They share two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan.
