Ukraine Attack Damages Major Oil Pipeline, Says Russia

Russian authorities on Sunday said a Ukrainian drone attack damaged a section of an oil pipeline near the Baltic port of Primorsk.

Air defence systems intercepted 19 drones over the Leningrad region, but debris from one struck the pipeline near the port, regional governor Alexander Drozdenko said on Telegram. He added that the affected section was being safely burned out and no casualties were reported.

Ukraine has intensified strikes on Russian infrastructure in recent months, targeting energy and logistics facilities.

Primorsk, located between the Finnish border and St. Petersburg, was also hit in March, when an oil depot in the port area caught fire following an attack.
