UP Shocker: 6-Year-Old Gang-Raped, Thrown From Terrace In Bulandshahr

A six-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and killed in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district, police said. The child was reportedly thrown from a terrace following the assault.

According to a complaint lodged by the girl’s father, the child had been playing on the rooftop of the building where the family lived. She later went missing and was found unconscious in a field behind the building. She was rushed to the Community Health Centre in Sikandrabad, where doctors declared her dead.

As per an India Today report, two men — Raju and Veeru Kashyap — who were tenants in the same building, have been named as accused in the case.

Police registered an FIR under Sections 70(2) and 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 5(m) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Officials said three police teams were formed to trace the suspects. Acting on information, police located them at the premises of a person named Idris in an under-construction colony.

When police attempted to arrest them, the accused allegedly opened fire, officials said. Police retaliated
