Vicky Kaushal Praises Katrina Kaif’s Strength During Pregnancy, Talks About Son Vihaan

Vicky Kaushal recently opened up about embracing fatherhood and had nothing but admiration for wife Katrina Kaif as he reflected on her pregnancy and early days of motherhood.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Vihaan, in November 2025. Speaking at an event hosted by The Hollywood Reporter India, Vicky was asked about life as a new father. Sharing a candid glimpse into their routine, he said their three-month-old son has brought immense joy, even if it has meant sleepless nights.

“He is three months old right now. There’s very little a dad has to do when the baby is three months old. I’m just trying to be a cheerleader and I’m waiting for him to grow up so I can contribute more,” Vicky said with a smile.

The actor went on to shower praise on Katrina, calling her a “superhero” and a “warrior” for the way she handled pregnancy and motherhood. “Right now, the mother is being the superhero and she has been a warrior through her pregnancy and she has been a warrior as a mother as well. I’m so incredibly proud of her and I love her so much,” he added.

Earlier, in an interview with GQ India, Vicky had described becoming a father as the most defining moment of his year. He said the experience has been deeply grounding and transformative, exceeding all his expectations.

The couple, who tied the knot on December 9, 2021, in an intimate ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, announced the arrival of their son on social media with a heartfelt note. “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November 2025,” they had shared.

Since then, both actors have occasionally offered glimpses into their new chapter as parents, balancing professional commitments with the joys and challenges of raising their newborn.
