Actress Zareen Khan has shared a heartfelt update about her mother’s health, revealing that while she is no longer in the ICU, she continues to remain under medical care at the hospital.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, the Veer actress informed fans that her mother is on the road to recovery. “Mom’s out of the ICU… but still in the hospital. Please continue keeping her in your duas/prayers. Much needed (sic),” she wrote, adding a folded hands emoji.
Just days earlier, on February 23, Zareen had penned an emotional note marking her Islamic birthday, which falls on the fifth day of Ramadan. She revealed that her celebrations had to be put on hold due to her mother’s hospitalisation.
“It’s the 5th of Ramadan today which is my Islamic Birthday. Those who know me closely know how much I love my birthdays. This year too I had plans of celebrating this one in a certain way but unfortunately that’s not going to happen as my Mom is hospitalized,” she shared.
Requesting prayers from her followers, she added, “I would request everyone of you to keep my Mom in your prayers as that’s going to be the greatest gift for me.”
This isn’t the first time the actress has opened up about her mother’s health. In October last year, she had informed fans about her mother being admitted to the hospital. Thankfully, she was discharged soon after.
At the time, Zareen had shared a picture from the hospital and wrote, “Mom’s much better. Taking her home today from the hospital. Big thanks to each and every one of you who sent good wishes and prayers for her… means the world to me,” along with folded hands and heart emojis.
