Just two days after CM Siddaramaiah hosted a breakfast meeting at his residence, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar turned the host on Tuesday. Siddaramaiah visited Shivakumar’s home in what sources say was a courtesy meeting, aimed at easing tensions over the post of Chief Minister.

According to insiders, no major breakthrough is expected from the second round of discussions. The meetings follow directives from the Congress high command to defuse the simmering power tussle between the state’s top two leaders.

The first round of talks took place on Saturday at Siddaramaiah’s residence, with both leaders making efforts to maintain party unity while managing ongoing leadership dynamics in Karnataka.
