Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Associate Harry Boxer Arrested in US, Linked to Firing Outside Rohit Shetty’s Residence

Gangster Harry Boxer, an alleged key associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who was reportedly operating its activities from the United States, has been arrested by US authorities on Saturday. Several criminal cases, including murder, extortion and issuing threats, are registered against him.

Boxer had allegedly claimed responsibility for the firing incident outside Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Following the attack, he reportedly issued threats to several Bollywood personalities through social media posts and audio messages.

His arrest comes shortly after US authorities detained two other alleged gangsters, Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria, in separate developments linked to organised criminal activities.

THREATS ISSUED TO ROHIT SHETTY AFTER FIRING INCIDENT

The firing outside Rohit Shetty’s residence was followed by a series of threatening audio messages allegedly circulated by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

In one of the recordings, the speaker identified himself as Arju Bishnoi and mentioned Harry Boxer and Shubham Lonkar while claiming responsibility for the incident.

The audio message reportedly described the firing as just a ‘short trailer’ and warned of serious consequences for individuals supporting the gang’s opponents. The messages also cautioned the filmmaker against interfering in the group’s activities.

The threats raised fresh concerns over the safety of Bollywood personalities amid a series of intimidation attempts allegedly linked to organised criminal networks.

LAWRENCE BISHNOI’S HISTORY OF THREATS AGAINST BOLLYWOOD

Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in Gujarat’s Sabarmati Central Jail, has repeatedly been associated with threats targeting Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

The gangster has publicly expressed hostility towards Khan over the actor’s alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck hunting case.

The latest arrest of Harry Boxer in the United States is another development in the ongoing investigation into the activities of individuals allegedly associated with the Bishnoi gang.
