‘Most Intense Day of Strikes’: US Issues Fresh Warning to Iran

The United States on Tuesday issued a fresh warning to Iran, signalling a further escalation in its ongoing military campaign. Speaking to reporters, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said the day would see the most intense wave of strikes so far in the conflict.

“Today will be, yet again, our most intense day of strikes inside Iran — the most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes. Intelligence is more refined and better than ever,” Hegseth said, according to the BBC.

The defence chief also asserted that the United States is “decisively winning” the conflict and is moving closer to achieving the objectives set by US President Donald Trump.

During the briefing, Hegseth claimed that American operations have significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities. As evidence, he pointed to the sharp decline in missile launches from Iran over the past 24 hours.

According to him, the reduced number of missile attacks indicates that US strikes have successfully disrupted Iran’s operational capacity and limited its ability to respond effectively.
