Sapna Choudhary Exits The 50 Due to Injury, Leaves Contestants Emotional

The reality game show The 50, featuring contestants like Prince Narula, Shiv Thakare, Mr. Faisu, Archana Gautam, Rajat Dalal and Karan Patel, has been grabbing attention ever since its premiere.

While several contestants have already been evicted from the palace, others continue to compete in the intense reality format. However, the journey of dancer-performer Sapna Choudhary came to an unexpected and emotional end — not due to elimination, but because of a medical condition.

Sapna displayed remarkable determination throughout her time on the show. Despite suffering a serious leg injury, she continued to participate in tasks, earning admiration from fellow contestants and viewers for her resilience and commitment. During one of the recent challenges, she pushed through the pain and completed the task with the same fighting spirit she had shown throughout her stint on the show.

The show, which premiered on February 1, features contestants competing in high-stakes challenges inside a palace-like setting. In a video shared by Sapna on Instagram, the show’s host, known as the “Lion,” is heard informing her that doctors have advised her to step away from the competition.

“Sapna, kuch din pehle aapko pair mein injury hui hai. Doctor ke analysis ke mutabik aap iss game ko aage continue karne ke liye fit nahi hain. Unfortunately, medical condition ke wajah se aapko game aur mera mahal chhodna padega,” the Lion says in the video.

After stepping out of the Lion’s den, Sapna addressed her fellow contestants with an emotional message.
“Chalo humara jaane ka waqt ho gaya hai. Bahut pyaar mila hai mujhe. Aap sab achhe se khelo, finale mein milenge. Khush rehna, kisi se ladna mat, apas mein pyaar baantna aur cheating mat karna,” she said.

She ended her speech by saying that she would be equally happy no matter who wins the trophy. Her sudden exit left several contestants emotional.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Sapna wrote, “Show nahi, log jeet liye!” The post quickly drew reactions from fans, many of whom praised her strength and grace. One user commented, “Sabko rula diya. Very emotional moment,” while another wrote, “Asli star wahi hota hai jo show nahi balki logon ka dil jeet jaye. Proud of you Sapna ji.”

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Shiv Thakare has won the first season of The 50. The grand finale was reportedly shot in February 2026, where he is said to have defeated finalists including Mr. Faisu, Krishna Shroff and Immortal Kaka in the final puzzle challenge. However, the finale episode is yet to be aired on JioHotstar.
