“New Era, New Aesthetic: Spring Riga Fashion Week Look Unveiled”

The Baltic Fashion Federation has unveiled the official campaign image for the Spring 2026 edition of Riga Fashion Week, scheduled for mid-April.

This season’s visual concept captures a modern woman who effortlessly balances softness and strength, merging tradition with avant-garde sensibilities.

Created by leading Latvian stylist and art director Anatoly Ksenofontov, the look is rooted in the evolving definition of femininity. Drawing from the aesthetics of a “new era,” the concept explores the intersection of couture heritage and digital futurism—where classic elements no longer resist experimentation but instead shape it.

At the centre of the composition is a voluminous white dress by Latvian designer Anna Gulbe, echoing a subtle bridal mood. While traditionally associated with purity and new beginnings, here it is reimagined as a canvas for individuality. A structured corset layered over the dress introduces a sense of control and inner strength, redefining it as a symbol of empowerment rather than restriction. Model Alisa Ontensone brings this duality to life, enhancing the interplay of contrasts.

Shot by photographer Polina Vijun, the campaign highlights a Cloud Dancer-toned ensemble—a shade recognised by Pantone as the Color of the Year 2026. The imagery reflects fashion’s enduring nature: constantly evolving yet instantly recognizable—free-spirited, slightly daring, and timeless.

The Spring edition of Riga Fashion Week is supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.
