Actor Urvashi Rautela recently opened up about her experience of working with veteran star Nandamuri Balakrishna in Daaku Maharaaj, addressing the online chatter surrounding their pairing and viral song Dabidi Dibidi.

In an interview with Radio Nasha, Urvashi described working with Balakrishna as a memorable experience and said she feels fortunate to have collaborated with him. Reflecting on the criticism and memes around their on-screen chemistry, she suggested that things often spiral online unexpectedly.

Praising the senior actor, Urvashi said audiences should also pay attention to the film’s action portions, which she described as highly energetic and entertaining. She added that her experience on set with Balakrishna was “really amazing.”

The actress also reacted to Balakrishna’s frequently viral fan interactions. Several clips over the years have shown the actor snatching or throwing away fans’ mobile phones during crowded public moments. Urvashi said she had personally witnessed such incidents and felt people often misunderstand the context behind them.

According to her, fans around Balakrishna enjoy his larger-than-life personality and do not necessarily take offence to his behaviour. She claimed his supporters are often excited by his spontaneous antics.

Sharing a lighter anecdote from their off-screen bond, Urvashi revealed that Balakrishna was the first person to wish her on Valentine’s Day last year. Calling the gesture “cute,” she recalled the moment fondly.

Meanwhile, Urvashi is gearing up for the release of Inspector Avinash Season 2, where she stars alongside Randeep Hooda. The actress recently said the new season promises more action, drama, and unexpected twists compared to the previous installment.
