Vijay and Trisha Visit Ajith Kumar’s Home to Offer Condolences After Mother’s Demise
Actor-politician Vijay visited the residence of Ajith Kumar in Chennai on Saturday to offer his condolences following the death of Ajith’s mother, Mohini Mani. Accompanying him was actor Trisha Krishnan, who also paid her respects to the bereaved family.
Videos circulating on social media showed Vijay arriving at Ajith’s residence amid tight security arrangements. The actor-politician spent time with the family and personally conveyed his condolences to Ajith during the visit.
Trisha was also seen entering the residence and meeting family members. Dressed in a black salwar suit, the actor greeted Ajith and offered her condolences during the difficult time.
The visit drew attention from fans of Tamil cinema, given the long-standing association between Vijay and Ajith. Though often portrayed as professional rivals by their fan bases, the two actors have shared a cordial relationship for decades and have frequently expressed mutual respect for each other.
The condolence visit also comes amid intense public interest surrounding Vijay and Trisha, who have recently been the subject of persistent relationship rumours. Neither actor has publicly commented on the speculation.
Trisha shares a close professional association with Ajith as well. The two have starred together in several films, including Ji, Yennai Arindhaal and Vidaamuyarchi.
Ajith Kumar’s Mother Dies at 89
Mohini Mani passed away on May 30 at the age of 89 after a prolonged period of declining health.
In a statement issued on behalf of the family, a relative said that she died peacefully in her sleep and thanked the medical professionals who had supported her care over the years.
The statement noted that the family was grateful for the assistance and compassion extended by doctors and caregivers during her final years.
Ajith, who was reportedly in Dubai when he received the news, returned to Chennai to be with his family following his mother’s passing.
Several members of the Tamil film industry, along with political leaders and well-wishers, have expressed their condolences to the actor and his family.
