Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday to seek blessings, with the couple accompanied by Ranveer’s parents.

The visit came a day after Ranveer was spotted offering prayers at the city’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja. Deepika, who is expecting the couple’s second child, arrived at the temple in an orange and purple kurta set. Ranveer opted for a purple kurta with white trousers as the family made their way to the temple.

Deepika and Ranveer Seek Blessings

The latest temple visit comes shortly after the couple shared photographs from their recent maternity shoot. Their appearance at Siddhivinayak also brought back memories of their visit to the temple in September 2024.

The couple had visited Siddhivinayak on September 6 last year, shortly before the birth of their daughter Dua. Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first child two days later, on September 8.

On Thursday, Ranveer was also photographed at Lalbaugcha Raja. Wearing a pink kurta, the actor was seen with folded hands as he sought blessings from Lord Ganesha.

Couple Preparing to Welcome Second Child

Deepika and Ranveer recently gave fans another glimpse of their family life while celebrating Dua’s second birthday on September 8. The couple shared family photographs from the occasion, with several fans commenting on the little girl’s resemblance to her father.

The actors had announced Deepika’s second pregnancy on April 19 through a joint social media post. The announcement featured Dua holding a positive pregnancy test, while the post confirmed that the baby was due later in the year.

Deepika has also featured her baby bump in photographs from the couple’s latest maternity shoot.

Ranveer and Deepika’s Love Story

Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot on November 14, 2018, in an intimate wedding ceremony at Lake Como, Italy. They held two ceremonies to honour their respective family traditions, with one following Deepika’s Konkani customs and the other reflecting Ranveer’s Sindhi heritage.

The two actors first met while working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. Their professional association eventually developed into a relationship, and they dated for several years before getting married. They were reportedly engaged in 2015.

The couple welcomed their daughter Dua on September 8, 2024. Their recent visits to Mumbai’s prominent Ganesh temples come as they prepare to welcome their second child.
