Ramayana Advance Booking: Ranbir Kapoor, Yash Starrer Collects ₹11.81 Crore, Eyes ₹200 Crore Worldwide Opening

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash’s highly anticipated film Ramayana is generating considerable buzz ahead of its theatrical release on November 5, 2026. The Nitesh Tiwari-directed epic has reportedly sold 2.15 lakh tickets through advance bookings across India, earning ₹11.81 crore so far, according to a report by The Indian Express.

Excluding block bookings, the film’s domestic advance collection stands at ₹9.59 crore. Its worldwide advance booking revenue has reached approximately ₹20 crore, including earnings from overseas markets, indicating strong interest ahead of its big-screen debut.

The Hindi version is leading domestic pre-sales, contributing ₹10.16 crore, while the Kannada version has generated ₹1.27 crore, according to the report.

With paid previews scheduled for November 4, the film is projected to collect more than ₹200 crore worldwide on its opening day. Its estimated domestic opening stands at over ₹110 crore, including around ₹80 crore from the Hindi version.

These figures are projections rather than confirmed opening-day collections, with the film’s actual performance set to become clearer after its theatrical release.

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash Lead the Cast
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash, Ramayana brings the celebrated Indian epic to the big screen in a two-part cinematic adaptation.

Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi plays Sita and Yash takes on the role of Ravana. The ensemble cast also features Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, alongside several other actors.

The film has attracted considerable attention because of its ambitious scale, high-profile cast and retelling of one of India’s most enduring epics. Its advance booking performance will be closely watched as audiences prepare for the first instalment.

Early Morning and Midnight Shows Listed for Ramayana
The excitement surrounding the release is also reflected in theatre listings. According to BookMyShow, Miraj Cinemas in Goregaon, Mumbai, has listed a 6 am screening of Ramayana Part 1, offering audiences an opportunity to watch the film early in the morning.

Late-night shows have also appeared on theatre schedules, with several screenings listed for 11:59 pm. These timings give moviegoers the choice of attending an early-morning show or watching the film around midnight.

However, the listings appeared ahead of the theatrical release and do not independently establish the level of demand for these particular screenings.

Ramayana Part 2 Planned for Diwali 2027
The ambitious adaptation is planned as a two-part film series, with the first instalment set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026. The second part is scheduled to arrive during Diwali 2027.

With advance bookings underway and opening-day projections pointing towards a potentially massive global debut, Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched theatrical releases of the year. Its actual box office performance will determine whether it can meet the lofty expectations surrounding the project.
